Hello Lovelies!
I am so pleased to announce that I will be putting on a special Jubilee party on Bank Holiday Monday, June 4th! It’ll be an all-dayer with lots and lots of fun things to do, including arts and crafts, vintage clothing, the famous Musical Bingo with Jess Indeedy, very special guest DJs Dom Servini, Ross Clarke and Helix, and live music from my favourite London band, Hackney Colliery Band!

The venue will be Floripa at Old Street, which is a beautiful bar and restaurant, and it has a lovely square we can spill out onto and revel in the sunlight. It’s the perfect place to celebrate the Jubilee, hope to see you there!

THE Hackney Colliery Band is east London’s unique take on the brass band. Featuring trumpets, trombones, saxes, sousaphone and marching percussion, the band are totally acoustic and yet able to blow the roof off any room.

Hackney Colliery Band’s members have hugely diverse musical backgrounds, ranging from work with cutting edge jazz groups to the Royal Opera House, and from Jarvis Cocker to major international orchestras.

Musical Bingo with Jess Indeedy is so pleased to put on our fun and games MONTHLY at the fabulous Drink Shop & Do in Kings Cross! The next instalment is this Thursday, May 17th at 8pm!

What is Musical Bingo?
Join American presenter Jess Indeedy and eclectic DJ Helix for a night of friendly competition and amazing prizes! Musical bingo is like normal bingo except instead of calling out numbers we play songs. Mark the songs off your card as you hear them, and run up to Jess Indeedy to claim your prize! We’ve collaborated with Drink, Shop & Do to come up with some brilliant and rather saucy prizes!

About The Venue 
Drink, Shop & Do is a design shop and café bar selling products from emerging designers alongside vintage furniture and home wares. The gorgeous café bar serves exciting cocktails such as the ‘Mrs. Pepper Pot’ with chambord, raspberry puree & basil, and ‘One Free Hour in The Candy Store’, with ice cream, oreos & baileys. In the spirit of Drink Shop & Do’s regular ‘Do’ events, we are pleased to introduce ‘Decorate a Dauber’! Players can personalize their very own Musical Bingo with Jess Indeedy bingo dauber with ribbons, gems, racing stripes, buttons, pom poms and more! A dauber is £1 (to cover costs of pom poms and glue of course). Be sure to bring your daubers to future events for treats!

I Love Lists for International Women’s Day!

I am so pleased to tell you that this Thursday at I Love Lists we’ll be raising money for Oxfam and International Women’s Day!

In addition to our usual list-making antics (if you’ve not been before you a) simply must and b) can read more about I Love Lists here) we’ll be having a vintage clothing and accessories stall by Belles & Whistles, a delectable cake stall by Bextacular Bakes PLUS a special sexy stationery stall for you pen and paper enthusiasts!

All proceeds from the stalls will go to Oxfam in honour of International Women’s Day. You can still buy tickets for this event here, there are a few tables left!

As always, our list-making soundtrack will be provided by the fantastically eclectic DJ Helix.
