ABOUT JESS INDEEDY
I am a singer, a presenter, a DJ, a writer, a quizmistress, and an overall music geek with a passion for food and fashion. I can probably be described as 50% Martha Stewart, 50% Keith Richards.
My performance career began as a singer in a Led Zeppelin covers band called M.I.A. at age 11, in my native Connecticut. Teenage years were spent in various theatre productions, rock bands, and school choir. I went on to study at SCSU in New Haven and CCFS at La Sorbonne in Paris, obtained a music degree and performed in rock, jazz, and electronic groups. I’ve lived in New Haven, Paris, New York and finally London, where I now call home.
I spent ten years in magazine advertising, working within the international cosmetics and luxury markets. Whilst travelling the world was exciting and my career very successful, I could no longer ignore the call of the spotlight and left the 9 to 5 world in May 2009.
I have been the presenter of Musical Bingo since we started it in August 2007, and we’ve reached the heady heights of playing all the big festivals, private members clubs, corporate events, and numerous venues across the UK and New York City. Check out the events page to see that Musical Bingo is set for world domination, which is a good thing because it means our future holds lots of prizes, smiles, and nonstop dancing.
I love putting on events, it’s all part of my efforts to make this life a bit more fun. I’ve recently created an entertainment first – a list-making night called I Love Lists. It’s partly just a laugh, partly therapy, partly a snapshot of London’s consciousness. I also throw a lot of parties.
